New Music Monday – 12 February 2024

It’s that time again – New Music Monday! Check out all the new music that we’re adding to the playlist this week, with artists like Nothing but Thieves, The Last Dinner Party, In Good Hands, Conan Gray, and for KING+COUNTRY.



Song: The Feminine Urge
Artist: The Last Dinner Party

Indie rock band The Last Dinner Party has debuted at the top of the UK’s album charts, beating out records by Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and The Weeknd. Since forming at university four years ago, the band has supported Hozier and Florence + The Machine on tour, and are the recipients of the Brits Rising Star Award as well as BBC Radio 1’s Sound of 2024.



Song: How ‘Bout Time
Artist: In Good Hands

Sydney-based band In Good Hands has released their fourth single, How ‘Bout Time. Describing themselves as ‘wholesome indie rock’ the band’s latest release explores the importance of being brave in the fact of adversity. In Good Hands will be launching this single live on March 9 at Waywards Bank Hotel in Newtown.



Song: Checking In
Artist: for KING + COUNTRY; ft Lee Brice

For KING + COUNTRY have collaborated with Lee Brice on the second single from their ‘Inspired By’ album, Unsung Hero. Checking In pays tribute to the relationship between father and son, as each call just to check in. The Christian pop band comprised of Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone will be returning down-under in May for their Homecoming Tour.



Song: Oh No::He Said What?
Artist: Nothing But Thieves

British rock band Nothing But Thieves have kicked off 2024 with a bang, releasing their new single, Oh No :: He Said What? along with the announcement of a deluxe version of Dead Club City, which charted #1 in the UK. Nothing But Thieves will be bringing their brand-new single to the Hordern Pavilion in April and May, following last year’s sold out run.



Song: Lonely Dancers
Artist: Conan Gray

Pop artist Conan Gray has dropped his latest single Lonely Dancers, following the announcement of his third album, Found Heaven. Lonely Dancers is the fourth pre-release single in anticipation of his latest album. Reminiscent of eighties synth-pop, the single promises a taste of his upcoming LP, which will drop in April.


Along with all these fantastic artists, our new music this week also features hits from Neighbourhood Void, Jazzy, Kenny Chesney, The Warning, Cold War Kids, Spencer Kane and Caleb LaDuke, Jax Jones and Zoe Wees, and Dylan.
