Orientation Interviews: Dr George Chen, Macroeconomics

Jake was joined this morning by Dr George Chen, Associate Professor in Macroeconomics.

Dr Chen teaches ECON102: Introductory Macroeconomics. He also teaches in other areas including contemporary macroeconomics and the economics of development.

ECON102 is an introductory macroeconomics unit that covers both a short and long-term view of the economy and a graphical approach to current macroeconomic policy debates. It focuses on the stylised facts of business cycle fluctuations, economic growth, unemployment, inflation, interest rates and a balance of payment.
