About Ben (he/him)

Meet Ben, our dedicated Operations Coordinator. As the go-to person for keeping TuneFM running smoothly, Ben ensures the music never stops and the station stays on track. From training new volunteers in studio operations to curating Tune’s extensive music library and managing daily playlists, he plays a critical role in delivering seamless content. Ben also oversees syndicated shows, ad campaigns, and all the behind-the-scenes operations that keeps Tune On Air.

Outside of work, Ben is a passionate fan of heavy music, often found at concerts or keeping an ear to the ground in the political world. He loves a good long drive, refereeing local rugby league games on weekends, and cheering for the NRL. At home, he’s a proud cat Dad to Pennywise—a mischievous orange cat who lives up to every stereotype.

Fun fact: He once nearly flew to England for a weekend just to attend a metal concert and has attended 26 concerts in 26 years!

Day to Day
Ben ensures TuneFM runs smoothly by managing the station’s music library, daily playlists, and syndicated shows while training volunteers in studio operations. He also oversees ad campaigns and operational tasks to keep the station’s content and broadcasts seamless and up to date.
