Marc Lansdorp worked for five radio stations (two commercial and three community) prior to joining TuneFm part-time in 2010. The positions included announcer/newsreader, senior producer, production manager and station manager.
Later, he spent almost ten years as an industry trainer, lecturing in sound recording and audio production for film, television and radio at tertiary level. Marc ran his own audio post-production studio in Perth, and his freelance articles on audio have been published in Australian HiFi magazine.
I'm a 22 year old student studying part time at the University of New England. I've been with TuneFm for 3 years taking up the assistant role in September 2011. My passion is Sound. I love music and audio editing and hope to make a career in the radio and audio engineering industry one day.
Hi I’m Josh, the Music Coordinator and one of the 'Class A' announcers at TuneFm. I’ve been with Tune since July of 2009 and have loved every second of it. I host the shows “Thank God It’s Friday” with The D.C Man himself Dave and “Pirate Radio” on Tuesday’s from 6 playing the best of the 60’s and 70’s but that doesn’t mean my music taste is stuck in the past. I have a love for music from all years and genres and am a major fan of acts such as Eric Clapton, Paramore, The Wombats, Elton John, B.B King and Jack Johnson.
As Music Coordinator it’s my job to find music that is worth playing on air and help to create Tune’s sound. I’m open to all suggestions and have weekly meetings with Tune’s Music Committee where we listen to anything new, share our love of music and decide on the best possible music to play on Tune. I’m currently studying Primary School teaching and begin my fourth year in 2012 but as you may have guessed my passion is music and while I’m studying to teach my future career path is heading closer and closer to radio and the music industry.
